Every child deserves a father who shows up.
Fathers United UK stands with dads through separation, isolation and everyday pressure, with practical help, mentoring and family days that bring fathers and children back together.
Fathers United UK is a community-led charity in the making, built around fathers and the people who love them.
Every child deserves a father who is present, loving and involved. When fathers are supported, children grow up with belonging, confidence and identity.
We exist to close the gap between that truth and the story the world tells about fatherhood.
We do it with community, practical help and a stronger picture of fatherhood for the next generation, and by reaching fathers early, long before things become a crisis.
Support that meets fathers where they are
Six ways we bring fathers, children and families together, from a first conversation to long-term mentoring.
- 01
Father support
Guidance, encouragement and a safe place to talk. No need to wait until things are serious.
- 02
Support for separated fathers
Positive contact with your children, and referrals to specialist family services and the courts.
- 03
Family activities
Days out and shared experiences that rebuild the bond between fathers and their children.
- 04
Youth mentoring
Steady, positive role models for young people who need someone in their corner.
- 05
Community events
Gatherings that celebrate fatherhood and challenge the stereotypes around it.
- 06
Early prevention
Belonging and role models from a young age, steering young people away from violence.
Father & Family Day
A free family fun day for fathers and their children. Football, races, a treasure hunt, games and food. Dads bring the kids, we bring the rest.
- Tentatively late September 2026
- Venue and date to be confirmed
Fathers are too often judged by a story that does not reflect the full truth. We exist to change that picture.
Society focuses on absence, not the love and commitment so many fathers show every day.
Many fathers face real barriers too: family support, education, employment, mental health and the courts. We help them through it.

Children with present fathers and role models grow up with belonging, confidence and identity, some of the strongest protections a young person can have.
Bringing fathers and children together early is how we steer young people away from violence, including knife and gun crime. Not reacting after the fact, but building strong foundations first. Prevention begins with family, role models and belonging.
Our prevention approach

- 03Families who want healthier communication, confidence and stability.
- 04Supporters, volunteers and donors who believe in strengthening families.
- 05Schools, councils, charities and services that want to work better with fathers.
